Yes! Our Midsize, Premium and Executive plans all provide the option to not only answer the question "will it fit?" but "how will it fit?"
Yes! Our Midsize, Premium and Executive plans allow you to make use of lower boot areas*, use the full height of the car (removing the parcel shelf)* and even fold the rear seats forwards and make use of the passenger space too.
*A little note - not all cars have a usable lower boot area and not every car has a parcel shelf that can be removed.
No problem! If a car has a 3rd row of seats (and we've captured the details), you'll be able to specify to search with either 2 or 3 rows of seats in place.
We’re very confident in our data (our car data is measured to ± 1.5mm), however it's also important to recognise that this API is an advisory service.
Car Boots are not perfect square boxes; rear seats are at an angle and reduce the space between the bottom and the top of the boot, boot sides frequently have to accommodate space for the rear wheels and there are pockets and compartments that manufacturers provide to maximise the storage and flexibility of a boot. As such, there is an element of subjectivity to our data captures as we measure what we believe to be the narrowest, but most usable space within a boot.
Covid has had an impact on our ability to capture new car data. Part of our data capture process involves getting hands-on with each car. With the various lockdowns and social distance restrictions, access to vehicles has been limited.
What does this mean for you? Well... some of the 2020 and 2021 models are not yet in our system. We’re working as hard as we can to catch up though. However, your monthly quota won’t be debited if you or your customers search for a car where we don’t have boot dimensions available. It’s in ours and your interest to fill in any gaps though and we are working as hard as we can to find and measure any cars that are missing.
Don't worry! We provide a little bit of headroom in your monthly quotas that is free of charge to you.
However if you go too far over your quota then you may wish to consider either upgrading to the next plan, or if you’re happy with your plan, we’re able to offer ‘quota top-ups’ where you can increase the number of searches available in your plan. These are available on a monthly basis and can be added from you Customer Portal account. Please contact us if you'd like more details or need even more queries.

Yes! We’ve tried to be as flexible as possible. Any changes (with the exception of quota top-ups) can be made within the Customer Portal.
An upgrade will give access to the enhanced features immediately with your updated monthly fee starting at the start of the next billing cycle (there might be a pro-rated fee for the remainder of your current billing period).
A downgrade will start from the next billing period. You’ll retain access to your existing plan until that time. Similarly if you choose to cancel, you’ll retain access until the end of your billing period. If there's anything we can do to help you before cancelling, please let us know - we'll do all we can!
Absolutely! Each account can subscribe to as many subscriptions of any packages as they wish. Each subscription has its own API keys, runs to its own billing cycle (with the option to specify different payment methods for each subscription).
We have details for cars dating back to 2008. However, older cars have been more difficult to find and therefore we do have some gaps. For this reason your monthly quota won’t be debited if you or your customers search for a car where we don’t have boot dimensions available. It’s in our and your interests to fill in any gaps though and we are working as hard as we can to find and measure any cars we have missing.
The data available is for cars and buggies available for sale in the Untied Kingdom. It's possible that the same cars and buggies are available globally, however we're not yet in a position to confirm this and therefore if you're looking to use these tools outside of the UK, we'd suggest you add some clarifications or caveats to your implementation for your customers.
We hope so! All Buggy and Travel System sizing information is provided directly from the brands, manufacturers and retailers. The information primarily covers the buggy frame and seat. Removable components such as carry-cots and car seats are not included in the results.
The dimension data we use is based on the folded dimensions as provided by the brands, manufacturers and retailers. In some instances, it is possible that a buggy or travel system can be made smaller and so our Buggy API tools also allow you to specify whether wheels/handles etc should be removed as part of an API query.
It's has not been possible to check that every buggy will fit in every car. For this reason, this API is provided as an advisory service.
